A fireplace below the television can bring a calm focal point to the room where everyone gathers. With a water vapor fireplace, the visual effect comes from illuminated mist. Plan the entire media wall before choosing the finished opening.
Look at the wall from the main seating position. Consider the television, fireplace line, cabinetry and circulation together. Mark a proposed fireplace length on the wall and compare it with the furniture around it. A room preview can help with proportion, but it is not a measured installation drawing.
The VORAFIRE model described on this site is decorative and is not intended to heat the room. That does not remove the need to follow the appliance and television manufacturers' installation instructions. Review ventilation, moisture, cable routes and access with your installer. Do not use a generic distance from an inspiration image as a construction clearance.
A sleek finish still needs practical access for filling, cleaning and service. Decide how the fireplace can be reached without damaging stone, plaster or cabinetry. Keep the required air inlet clear and separate electrical planning from visual styling. Confirm the supply for the ordered unit; the 800 mm source drawing's 220V note is not a universal specification for every configuration.
Your installer should review the final configuration before cutting the opening. For the difference between overall product dimensions and cutout dimensions, read our fireplace size guide.
