The right fireplace length should feel natural beside your seating, television or room divider. Start with the space you want to create, then check whether the selected unit can be installed and serviced there.
VORAFIRE lists standard lengths of 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800 and 2000 mm, with custom lengths available for discussion. These correspond to approximately 31.5, 39.4, 47.2, 59.1, 70.9 and 78.7 inches. Confirm the actual configuration and finished dimensions before ordering.
Use removable tape to compare possible lengths on the wall or proposed surround. View the layout from your usual seat rather than only standing directly in front of it. Leave room in the design for the approved support, ventilation and service arrangement.
For the supplied 800 mm reference model, the flange is 800 × 250 mm, while the body is 750 × 215 × 200 mm. The drawing indicates a 770 × 230 mm clear opening and an internal recess depth of at least 220 mm. Do not cut an 800 × 250 mm opening simply because those are the flange dimensions.
A custom length may help coordinate the fireplace with an existing architectural feature. Share your preferred overall length and finished opening, rather than treating one as interchangeable with the other. Custom depth, height or viewing arrangements must be confirmed individually; this guide does not promise every dimension is customizable.
Ask for the final drawing for your exact model, including support, access, power, water and ventilation. Reference illustrations are for planning and should not be scaled to infer missing dimensions. See the installation guide and reference illustration before you brief your installer.
